Clear This Ltd is a family-run, female-led house clearance company based in Chorley, Lancashire, with a second base on the Fylde coast in Blackpool. Whatever corner of the county you’re in, we’re never more than an hour away.

Behind the name is a team with genuine, hands-on experience. Shaun has been clearing houses across Lancashire for over 30 years; Jennie Livesey, our owner, brings a decade of her own and is, as our customers often say, the heartbeat of the company. Many people across the county will remember us as Lancashire House Clearance — same trusted people, same values, simply a fresh name.

A personal promise

From your first call to the final sweep-up, Jennie is personally involved. “I take pride in every job I do,” she says. “From quote to completion of your house clearance, I’ll be there personally to answer any questions and help in any way I can.” Bereavement clearances are handled with particular sensitivity — Jennie treats every one as though it were for one of her own family.

Zero to Landfill

Recycling and re-use are at the heart of what we do. We don’t claim to be the cheapest, but we re-home, donate, sell on through our own fortnightly online auctions, or properly recycle far more than our competitors. Anything that can’t be re-used is taken to authorised materials-recovery facilities — not landfill.

Honest, fair and discreet

We’re a registered Lancashire Trading Standards Safe Trader, fully licensed and insured, and trusted for sensitive work by local social services. We ask for no payment upfront, use plain unmarked vans for discretion, and we’ll always give you honest advice — even when that means telling you the council would be cheaper for a small job.
