A 2022 Bailiwick of Guernsey Five Pounds commemorative coin struck to mark the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The obverse features the right-facing fourth definitive portrait of Her Late Majesty by Ian Rank-Broadley with the engraver initials IRB visible below the neck. The obverse legend reads BAILIWICK OF GUERNSEY ELIZABETH II FIVE POUNDS 2022. The reverse design is centred on gold-plated numerals 70 within a border of symbolic floral motifs. The design incorporates a polychrome crown with red and blue detailing and an orb with green and yellow highlights. The reverse legend around the rim reads PLATINUM JUBILEE HM QUEEN ELIZABETH II and the dates 1952 – 2022. The coin is struck in a silver-coloured base metal with selective gold plating and enamel-like polychrome highlights. It is housed in a circular clear plastic protective capsule and has a milled edge.
