A commemorative quartz pocket watch by Wing Root, celebrating composer Ludwig van Beethoven. The pocket watch features a hunter-style case with an embossed relief portrait of Beethoven on the front cover, inscribed with the text Ludwig van Beethoven 1770-1827. The white dial displays black Roman numerals for the primary hours and black Arabic numerals (13-24) on the outer track, complemented by black ornate filigree hands. The watch is housed in a base metal case with a silver-tone finish and gold-tone accents on the crown and pendant loop. The interior of the front cover is finished with an engine-turned decorative pattern. The watch is accompanied by a silver-tone snake-link chain and a garment pocket clip. No box or paperwork is present.
