This collection comprises framed contemporary East Asian calligraphic works. The largest piece is a vertical frame containing three large ink characters on a white paper mount, identified as 静 (stillness/quiet), 花 (flower), and 亮 (bright/clear), with small red accents placed between the characters. Accompanying this are several square-framed works executed on textured, layered handmade paper, each depicting a single character representing a season: 春 (Spring), 夏 (Summer), and 冬 (Winter). Each of these seasonal works features a red circular motif and a square red seal mark transcribed as 四季 (Four Seasons), alongside handwritten English translations at the lower edge of the mount. All items are housed in uniform simple black wooden or composite frames with glass.
Condition report:
The vertical work shows visible foxing and light staining across the paper mount. The seasonal works appear to be in generally good condition. All frames exhibit minor surface wear and light scuffing consistent with age and handling.
