A pair of hand-blown studio glass vessels by Mdina Glass, featuring the Tiger pattern. The lot includes an organic free-form vessel with an asymmetrical pulled rim and a bud vase with a teardrop-shaped body and a flared circular rim. Both items are crafted from glass with internal swirled patterns in opaque white, translucent amber, and dark brown. The glass contains characteristic internal seeds and bubbles from the hand-blown manufacturing process. The larger vessel features an incised signature to the base reading Mdina 71 Malta. The smaller vessel features a stylized incised Mdina signature to the base.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good overall condition. There is minor surface scratching and typical light shelf wear to the polished bases, consistent with age and use. No visible chips, cracks, or signs of restoration.
