This vintage scrolling wing brooch is crafted from sterling silver and features a stylized openwork wave design pavé-set with rose-cut marcasites. The reverse is impressed with the word SILVER and a fineness mark, though only the characters 2 and 5 are clearly legible in the second mark (photo 2).
