Two decorative figurines depicting the figure of Budai, commonly known as the Laughing Buddha or Hotei. Both items are constructed from cast resin or a composite material. One figurine is finished with a silver-toned metallic pigment to the head, torso, and treasure bowl, with cream-coloured robes and a circular rope-twist base. The second figurine is polychrome, featuring cream tones with patterned robes in pale green and pink, and is depicted holding a sack in the right hand. Both figures are shown in a traditional seated pose. No maker’s marks, decorator marks, or model numbers are visible on either piece.
