A mid-century modern one-piece two-door wardrobe manufactured by E. Gomme Ltd as part of the G-Plan range. The unit is constructed from teak and teak veneers, featuring front panels with a distinctive horizontal grain orientation. The doors are fitted with original sculptural teak pull handles typical of G-Plan designs from this period. The interior is open and fitted with a single full-width hanging rail. The interior of the door bears a square red and white G-Plan foil label featuring a large white letter G and the word PLAN in vertical block capitals. This label identifies the piece as being produced between the mid-1960s and mid-1970s. Note that the provided images show the wardrobe positioned horizontally on its side; it is a vertical standing furniture unit.
